Pete was a good one!
I knew him since High School, and remember lots of laughs, and lots of cool and interesting things.
Right up until the end he honored the tradition of hanging out with your buddies from time to time.
My condolences and respects to all of his family and friends.
I genuinely miss his company.

I worked with Pete at the London Police Garage and quickly became friends. He had a great sense of humour and was easily one of the nicest people I've known. I will miss his dry wit and his easy going nature. I will miss you Pete, but now the fight is over. Rest easy my friend, until we meet again.

Jess was our introduction to Pete. We were just starting a family and Pete easily and loving accepted us for all we are. We quickly enjoy many celebrations partying with food, the best of meat and coffee and always more than we needed. Each New Year celebration had a morning with Pete's Grandma's recipe for homemade waffles. Thank you for being our good friends Love Story!!!
Rest now Pete, your battle is done xo Nancy and John Fazakas

worked with Peter at LPS fleet services and have nothing but good memories of him. Peter was always an exemplary staff member but it was his communication skills and his ability to get along with everybody that made work life with Peter so enjoyable. He will be missed.
My sincere condolences.

Our Deepest condolences to Jess and the family We don't have a lot of memories of Pete. When Jess introduced us to him:, the memory I have is of a quiet gentle soul with a love for Jess and his family and an easy kind personality with a warm smile, that was accepted into a room full of people he fit in perfectly. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Peter for a number of years he was both a teammate and a close friend with whom we shared both the struggles of the job and had some great laughs along the way. My heart goes out to Jess and the family in the loss of your husband and father may you find solace in the great memories you shared together.

As cousin Michael has shared, the memories of when we were kids will be what I hang on to. Peter, Matthew, and I gallivanting around Aunt Donna's & Uncle Paul's pool always up to no good...those were the days. And the reunion with all the aunts and uncles hosted at Peter & Jessie's house - I will treasure that time. Lots of fun at the cottage at Tobermory will live in my memory as well. I will miss you like crazy my dear cousin.

I had the pleasure of working with Pete as a Special Constable with London Police. Pete was an absolutely wonderful guy and I was proud to call him my friend. Hopefully the many special memories that Pete brought to you, the family and to us, his many friends will help you through these troubling times

My deepest condolences to all the Smith family. I worked for Peter's grandfather in the 70's and during that time Peter and I became good friends. We lost touch over the years but I thought of him often. I remember him as such a 'bright spot'. A good guy with a great sense of humour.

My cousin Peter. It’s unbelievable that you are not with us anymore. What a life you lived, and a blessing to all of us. I remember our early childhood in London, Ontario. We were everywhere together…almost inseparable as some might say. Visiting the famous market and watching your dad work, grandma’s apartment, the park, and sharing Big Turk bars and potato chips. All the adventures around your house…sometimes to the displeasure of Uncle Paul and Aunt Donna of course. I have so many memories of our youth…as clear today as if we were still on our bicycles riding around London or playing around your house and neighborhood. Thanks for the free food from the market…you took care of us, and it was great to be your cousin! Being at your home for my mom’s last visit to Canada is one of my most memorable times as a son with mom, my brother, and clan Wallace! Thanks for being a great cousin, loving your aunt Carole, and just being you. Rest comfortably with God, Peter. I will see you again one day. Your cousin, Michael.

Pete was not only my boss as a teenager at Hasbeans, Paul’s Place and at Piazza, but a great family friend. He had a witty sense of humor and loved being a Dad. He was very proud of both Charlie and Jacey. Jesse, I know he became an even better person when he met you. You lit up his world. Thinking of you all during this time. He loved his family dearly.
