I didnt know him long because i only dated his granddaughter but he was always kind towards me and always was fun to be around. I remember the last time i saw him, he came into my workplace and wished me well and even gave me a hug that day. He was a very interesting and genuine and warm person and i wish his family the best in this hard time.

Dearest Lori and Lisa,
Our deepest condolences to you both and your family on the passing of your father. It is never easy to lose a parent, no matter your age, Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Here's a scripture my nephew sent us and hoping it will bring some comfort during this difficult time
Psalm 34:18
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

Mr. Weichelt was our neighbour when I was young. I have never forgotten those times I would be over playing with Lori and Lisa and he would pretend he was the chef from the muppets. I attempt to do his impression to this day - albeit horrible. My kids think I am crazy. Thinking of you all during this time. May he be happy reconnecting with the rest of his loved ones in the next life.

I love you so much. I love Oma so much, too. I know you are at peace and at home being together with some of our family and the love of your life. I will continue to miss the days where we visited and we were made to feel like family, regardless of blood relation. You will forever be my Opa, I still remember So many amazing memories with you and with Oma.. You two were amazing together, the perfect pair. Chucky still pops up in my mind sometimes, I laugh now because he cannot scare me as an adult, but as kids, it was the scariest thing in your house by far haha! You definitely were a prankster, and making everyone smile and laugh. It was rare to see you in a mood aside from those.. I can still remember the feel of your hugs. Scarlett loves you so much too, even if she did not have as much time spent with you. Hey Opa? Pull my finger. That is her favourite one. I hope there is something out there for after the pain is gone, and one day I will be smiling and ready to pull your finger when we meet again.
