Obituary of Sarah Jane Ellen Matheson

Sarah Jane Ellen Matheson - July 18, 1996 to July 8, 2024. Sarah passed away tragically in her sleep 10 days before her 28th birthday due to medical complications. Sarah was a tenacious soul that refused to give up. In her everyday life, she often used her resources to cheer others up, her energy to help others out, her wit to make others laugh, and her love to encourage others to grow. She was protective, empathetic, kindhearted and supportive of others even on her most difficult days. We mourn the loss of a beloved daughter, sister, partner and friend. She was often faced with overwhelming obstacles in life that sometimes felt insurmountable. With support from her loved ones, she was able to persevere but, unfortunately, was taken too soon. Sarah’s career aspiration was to find work within the community as she was passionate about helping others. She remained optimistic about her future and looked forward to sharing it with her loved ones. Recently, she attained some personal goals, and shared that success with her closest loved ones with pride. She was determined to succeed, and we will always be proud of her. Sarah is survived by her Mother Karen (Lewis), her Sister, Amanda (Andrew), her boyfriend, Michael, her Father Glenn, and several extended family members. Sarah was fiercely loyal and devoted to all those that she loved, including her cats. She will be dearly missed by everyone in her circle. A private celebration of life will be arranged at a later date.
