Obituary of Gerald Locking

Passed away with family by his side, at Universty Hospital in London June 24, 2024. In his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Mari Locking(Abbott) Cherished father of Jennifer and Peter Brasil , Stacey Mohns and Son-in-law Mike Mohns. Loving Pappa to Lucas Mohns , Nicholas Mohns and Makayla Brasil. Predeceased by his parents William and Gladys. His sisters Betty Hadaro, Leone Hilliard (Ron) and Yvonne Theaker (Al). His brothers William Locking (Patricia), Kenneth Locking (June), Ronald Locking (Cheryle) and Barry Locking. Survived by brother Michael Locking (Marj). Also remembered by his Brother and Sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was a kind loving family man. Jerry spent his younger years as a member of Standard Bred Canada where he owned and trained horses. Jerry was a dedicated member of The International Operating Engineers Local 793 for 44 years. In his later years he enjoyed the company of his dogs and a good book. Special thanks to Dr. Stephen Wegener for the years of care he provided. Family will receive friends Friday June 28 for a light luncheon at the Moose Lodge Charterhouse Cres. 12:30-3:30
