Obituary of Joanne Marie Bernard

Joanne Bernard passed unexpectedly as a result of a sudden illness at Victoria Hospital on Saturday May 4th 2024 in her 59th year. She was the beloved mother of two daughters, Sara and Hannah McPherson, daughter of Patricia Bernard, and sister to Karen Bernard (Karen Tompkins) and Micheal Bernard. Predeceased by father, John Bernard. Joanne loved spending time with her daughters and supporting them in all of their passions. She was always working in her gardens and going on walks with her friends. She was involved in her church community and had a strong faith. Joanne spent most of her professional career working for Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario after her father was diagnosed with the disease. She devoted much of her time helping others in any way that she could and volunteered with different organizations. A visitation service will be held at Redemption Bible Chapel at 250 Commissioners Road East in London Ontario on Thursday May 9th from 4:30-6:30pm, and a memorial service on Friday May 10th at 1:30pm also at Redemption Bible Chapel.
