Obituary of Jack Patrick Johnston

Peacefully at Queens Village in London ON on March 12th, 2024, in his 83rd year. Dear father of Kevin (Katherine), Clint (Margaret), Carrie (Michael) of London and Patrick of Deseronto. Loving grandfather to Eric, Rachel, Alex, Sarah and Colin. Loving great-grandfather to Brooklynn and Harlow. Beloved brother of Richard of Gabriola, British Columbia. Beloved uncle of Gavin and Erin of Calgary. Remembered by his cousins in Sault Ste Marie, Charlie, Patrick, Joe and Bill. Predeceased by his loving partner Joan Hesketh, and his granddaughter Patsy. Jack was a man who loved his family and instilled a love and respect of the outdoors in each of his children. A deeply emotional and gentle man with a booming voice and hands the size of bear paws. He was happiest when outdoors. Dad had a talent for seeing the best in people and accepting them for who they are. He was literally a jack of all trades with a gift for story telling who loved to share in a drink and a laugh.
