Obituary of William George "Bill" Phillips

February 12, 1938-October 6, 2023 William "Bill" Phillips of London, Ontario, passed away on Oct.6, 2023 at University Hospital, London, Ontario. Born in Stratford, Ontario son of the late George & Dorothy Phillips of Sebringville. Loving husband for 59 years to Joan (nee: Taylor) Phillips. Survived by his wife Joan, sister Dawn (Doug King), Brother-in-law Joe Taylor (Bob Rose), Sisters-in-law Pat (Jim Revell), Katherine (Bev Hewitt), several Nieces, nephews & great nieces & newphews. Predeceased by his parents, sister Marilyn (late Bob Lancaster), father & mother-in-law Fred & Marg Taylor, sister & brother-in-law Anne (nee: Taylor) & Jerry O'Brien. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 19,2023. Visitation for family & Friends will be at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 96 Huron Street, Stratford, Ontario from 10:00AM until 11:00AM. The funeral mass will be celebrated by Father David Butler at 11:00AM at St.Joseph's R.C. Church. For your convenience, enter the church from the Hibernia Street parking lot. Luncheon will immediately follow the mass in the adjacent parish hall. Burial will take place in the Sebringville Cemetery, Sebringville, Ontario.
