Obituary of Mary Agnes Helm (Becking)

Past away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospice on Sunday November 17, 2019 at the age of 88,  together again with her husband Cletus, son Bruce (Nancy Barclay of London) and infant son Cletus.  Dear mother of Daniel of Cambridge, Debbie (Derek Clarke) of London, Joseph (Karen Gans) of Woodstock, John of Kitchener, Tom (Lynn McGillivray) of London and Lynda (James O'Neill) of Blenheim.  Loving grandmother of Erin (Jamie Niles), Meggin (Mat Green), Trevor Clarke (Lauren Gyles), Stephanie (Andrew Russell), Jillian (Jack Wojtasiak), Ashley (Jonathon Somerville), Brian, Jacob (Evelyn Williams), Haley and Griffen.  Great grandmother of Emmett, Wyatt, Nellie, June, Sophia, Philip, Ania, Nathaniel, Nora and Tessa.  Predeceased by her brother Hugh Becking (Doreen Parker of Fenelon Falls).  During her life Mary gave endlessly of her time to not only her family but also doing volunteer work, belonging to church groups, quilting clubs, knitting groups and community groups.  Cremation has taken place.  A private family burial will be held at a later date.  Expressions of sympathy and donations (St. Joseph's Hospice, Breast Cancer Society of Canada) would be appreciated and may be made through London Cremation Services (519) 672-0459 or online at www.londoncremation.com.  A very special thank you to the staff at Riverside Retirement Residence and both the staff and many volunteers at St. Joseph's Hospice for their compassion and caring making Mary's final journey comfortable and peaceful.
