Obituary of Ronald Colombe

Colombe, Ronald J On Sunday May 29, 2022 in his 58th year, At home surrounded by all his girls, Ron lost his battle with Cancer. Ron was the proud father of three daughters. Candace (Cody), Megan (Sim), Emalie (Emma). Loving papa to granddaughter Paisley. Devoted Partner to Kim (Ashley, Brooke). Held forever in the hearts of Mother Lorna, and siblings Jeannie (Dale), Lisa, George (Jody),Dan (Lisa) and Christine (Dave). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends around the world. Ron had a tell it like it is personality, never afraid to hold back his emotions or opinions. He will be remembered for his tight hugs, his witty sense of humour and cheeky grin. Ron loved being a father to his girls. Creating countless family traditions and memories such as Apple picking, Hikes to waterfalls, walks at Hutches for ice cream, Big top family breakfasts, festivals at Gage park and movie nights at home or the drive in. Ron loved travelling, especially to Cuba with Kim to visit friends who became family. In recent years Ron found a passion for wood turning. He created many beautiful pieces of art and shared the journey of his craft on YouTube. In Ron’s final months he was most proud of being a papa to his “ baby Bum”. He looked to his granddaughter for a reason to smile, because “with her around there is no pain”. A cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
