Obituary of Helen Rose LeBlanc

On Jan 5, 2022 Helen Rose LeBlanc (Vronsky) died of natural causes at Chelsey Park Long-Term Care with family at her side. Born Feb 2, 1924 to Harry & Helen Vronsky (Bignoski), Helen was just shy of her 98th birthday. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael J. LeBlanc (1998) and her brothers Stan Vronsky and Victor D. Vronsky (1994). Survived by her sons, Michael (Avril) LeBlanc, Victor LeBlanc (Anette Smith) & Peter (Sue) LeBlanc as well as her sister, Mary Ann Amato. Helen had 8 grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, Chris, Adam, Jeremy, Stephanie, Andrew & Nichole and 4 great grandchildren who will miss their Nanny’s sense of humour, home cooked meals and generous heart. Helen was a hard worker - from her early years working at Highgrade (Jones Box & Labels) where she met her husband, to The Three Little Pigs “Pentry”, Country Style Donuts and at the snack bar at Brunswick Huron Bowl & then Brunswick Plaza Lanes. Helen was thankful for the family trips over the years to Florida, Vegas & Fort Erie and fun summers in Pt. Bruce with the LeBlanc clan. She cherished weekly trips to Walmart with her sister who fondly called her “Lala”, playing Shanghai Rummy with family, a good game of Crib, playing Optimist TV Bingo and the excitement of winning the jackpot one time, rides to Pt. Stanley, which wouldn’t be complete without an Orangeade and Hotdog from Mackie’s, van rides with the Chelsey Park residents and visits with her family. She will be deeply missed by extended relatives of the LeBlanc and Amato families & her Chelsey Park Long-Term Care Family. A private family service will be held at a later date. The LeBlanc family extends deep gratitude to all the staff at Chelsey Park Long-Term Care for their love, friendship and care towards Helen over the past 10 years. Helen cherished every single one of them. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to The London Food Bank, Recreation Department at Chelsey Park Long-Term Care or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
