Obituary of Grace Lillian Francis Carruthers

Carruthers (Leitch), Dr. Grace Lillian Passed peacefully at McGarrell Place, London Ontario, on Thursday, October 28, 2021, her 93rd year. Loving mother of Calla Leitch (Mark Graham). Predeceased by her husband Dr. Garnet Leitch and her parents Charles and Lillian Hunt. Grace graduated Medical School from the University of Western Ontario in 1957. Her professional career followed in Sarnia-Lambton where she successfully ran a family practice, sat on the board of the local hospital and was employed by the Sarnia-Lambton Health Unit until her retirement. Grace enjoyed her friends, a good game of duplicate bridge, sailing, travelling, flying and cottage life. Cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
