My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Lackie and extended family of George. I was very fortunate to have appreciated his great down to earth demeanor, sense of humor, marvel at his commitment to running, and to be a recipient of his kindness. As a sixteen year old teen, George offered me the use of his family’s Pontiac station wagon to take my drivers road test. I’m forever grateful.

I never knew George, but seen him a couple of times when he stayed with his lovely daughter Susan.. However, I used to hear him play the piano when the family got together, and had the privilege of seeing his paintings in Susan and Dana's home, and thought "what a talent". Rest In Peace George

He always had an amazing smile and was such a lovely man. I think the one thing that sticks out was him always running. He is going to be missed but he left wonderful memories
