Obituary of Ruth Blackburn

Ruth Blackburn (nee Whyte) died peacefully on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, in her 86th year. Loving and devoted wife for 67 years of Bill Blackburn. Loving mother of John (Lori) and loving grandma of Liam. Sister of Garry (Betty), aunt to nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Leonard and Lillian Whyte and her sister Gloria. Ruth is remembered fondly by many dear friends from around the world as a spiritual and fun-loving person always ready with a little joke. Cremation has taken place. A special thank you to the exceptional staff at the Parkwood Hospital Palliative Care unit in London for their compassion and the special care they provided to our dear Ruth.
