I spent my entire high school life at the whitmore house. So many memories. But he has always been a kind man, and a great father. It’s been quite a while since I’ve seen him but Doug and Lynne have and always will hold a very special place in my heart. They have always treated me like I was apart of the household. My heart is grieving the loss of this wonderful man. My sincere condolences to Lynne, Teri and Craig as well as Adam and Nicole and their children on the loss of this wonderful man.
Who let the dogs out. Who. Who. Who.

I did not know Doug away from the curling rink. He was always friendly to me and our fellow competitors, and calm. He put me at ease any time we were playing or having a conversation. I always enjoyed his company. I wish his family well and and wish to express my condolences for their loss. He was one of the good guys!
