Obituary of Murray Horton

Murray Horton (99), in his 100th year born on February 11th, 1921 Dear son of the late Hartley and Lilian Horton Cherished husband of Marjorie. Beloved father of Cathy (Brian) Lewis and Larry (Jessica) Horton Loved by his grandchildren Scott and Kevin (Lewis), and Jobe and Jessa (Waminal).Dad was born in Welland Ontario. He led a very active and fulfilling life. Dad was a veteran, a tool and die maker, a golfer, a shuffleboard player, a pilot, and a volunteer firefighter. In his retirement, he and Mom spent many enjoyable winters in Naples Florida, where they made many wonderful friends. Dad loved a challenge when it came to fixing things. He excelled at problem solving,and hardly ever abandoned a project. In later years, Dad dedicated himself to caring for Mom, the love of his life, to whom he was married for 73 years. Dad, we will always love you, and carry you in our hearts. We'll miss you every minute of every day. As per Murray's wishes, there will not be a funeral.
